Pastor Craig shares what got him to a life of pastoring.  We open and close the conversation with a drum jam. Craig Gilbert is a Christian pastor in a church near the mountain region of Cripple Creek, Colorado, where I had been visiting family - an energetic teacher who has dedicated his life to Jesus Christ.  

At the classic Los Angeles hiking trail Runyon Canyon, just before leaving town, Jack and I noticed Lanz P, offering beautiful hand pan music for passers by.  These angelic instruments are rare, and he had such a unique aura we had to stop, listen and chat.  He was once a guru, and for the moment a traveling busker.  Listen to what he says about new spirituality and authenticity.  And Archetypes!!  Loki, Jester, Joker Troll.  "It's all nonsense!".  There's a video of Jack mesmerized by the sound on my instagram and youtube of course.  @ethansharrettofficial

Simplicity as vacation, and healing.  And also, we introduce the 5th Chakra (The Throat Chakra).  Included is a study which reminds us how to exercise our happiness.

Now officially recording outside California, the road trip to some new life is on. Jack is visiting his mom in Tennessee.  The Heart Chakra (4th) continued.  The book referenced is "Love Yourself as if Your Life Depends on It" by Kamal Ravikant.  And once again "Understanding Chakras" by Broderick S Johnson.  Waking up with roosters, horses, and the Colorado mountains.

I recorded this episode right after going into a wikipedia wormhole to understand when and how Buddhism came to exist in China and what effect Confucius had.  Obviously too much on that to even begin to grasp! What I do explain is how the road trip is about to happen, and the first mention of the fourth Chakra, the Heart Chakra.  There will be much more about this for certain.
